John Wallace

John Wallace, a mortgage broker for Amerifund Home Loans and Reverse Loan Solutions, was born and raised in New England. He worked in his family’s 200-year-old Inn there during his teen years. A proud patriot, John served his country as a medic in the US Army from 1978-1981, tending to the wounded in the line of duty. This experience instilled in him a deep sense of honor and integrity, and a desire to help others, which would guide him throughout his life. His son Adam was born in 1980. He returned to work with his family for eight years after his service ended.
In 1989, John made the journey to the Pacific Northwest and found himself enchanted by its rugged beauty, wildlife, and independent spirit. He quickly made a home for himself there and over the years, he developed a deep appreciation for the region’s arts, natural wonders and diverse communities. He spent many years in exotic food sales, as well as performing regularly as an accomplished jazz musician.
In 2001, John began his career as a refinance mortgage officer, using his knowledge of the industry to help clients consolidate their revolving debt and create a path to a more promising financial future. He has since become an expert in all types of mortgages, including reverse, government-backed, investment, jumbo loans, and many others, providing his clients with the best options to meet their unique needs. When not helping his clients achieve their financial goals, John enjoys gardening, cooking, foraging, and spending time with his beautiful wife Linda and their lazy cat Bob, savoring the simple pleasures of life in the Pacific Northwest.
